Starting a career as an adult performer wasn’t a difficult decision for me — I always knew I wanted to work in the industry, and as soon as I turned 18 I turned on my cam and got started. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I think a combination of things helped me find success in a pretty short amount of time. I’d like to talk about my journey so far, because even though it hasn’t been long, it’s been extremely exciting, and I hope that I can use it to help others find their way.
After I found my agent, I started shooting right away; people were interested in my big boobs and they loved the fact that I was 18. From the second week I started, my following and fan base grew very quickly, and I was getting booked a lot during my first eight months in the industry.
I feel like my name is my brand. I’ve created a niche that only I can fit by being 100 percent genuine to myself and to my fans, and that makes me love what I do.
Once I finally had the time, I made a FanCentro account, and my first Snapchat show was with Lena the Plug. From then on, I kept up with my premium Snapchat and my subscribers grew because of my fans and followers. I started my first Instagram less than a year ago, grew it organically, and it’s already reached over 650,000 followers. I think, for me, my success is a combination of a few different factors. People liked my look. I am also really good at marketing myself, which helps tremendously. I’ve learned a few things along the way, so I’d like to share some of the tips I live by when it comes to my career.
If there’s one message I would share with every girl who is interested in joining the industry, it would be that presentation matters. The way you represent yourself has to not only be appealing to your audience, but it has to engage them as well. You need to make sure that they’re happy to see you and that your content, no matter what you’re posting, gets them excited to see more.
One of the easiest things you can do to help yourself is to take and post good pictures. Does that mean spending a ton of money on a photographer? No! Professional photographs are great, but not always easy to get, especially if you’re just starting out. But even without a professional photoshoot, you want to make sure you take good quality pictures and present yourself in a positive way that your fans can relate to. Get great at selfies. Invest in a ring light. Learn which angles work best for you, and borrow a trusted friend to help you take tons of pics until you have some great ones to choose from.
Another really important thing to think about — especially when you are living life on social media — is to adapt to the platform you’re using, rather than have it adapt to you. For example, my Instagram page is pretty mainstream. I keep all my posts “IG appropriate” to what Instagram offers. Twitter is a whole different story. There, I know I can post fully adult material, so I reserve that type of content for my Twitter feed. As long as you’re posting engaging material, you can grow your followers.
Models and influencers talk a lot about their personal brand or what niche they fit. I feel like my name is my brand. I’ve created a niche that only I can fit by being 100 percent genuine to myself and to my fans, and that makes me love what I do. This is what works for me, and I’m so proud of what I’ve achieved at such a young age. In 2019 I was named PornHub Favorite Newcomer and in April of this year I was named Penthouse Pet. I’m regularly at the top of FanCentro’s best sellers, and I’m only 19 years old. None of my successes happened by accident. I think they came from making smart decisions about who I am and how I represent myself. I knew my potential and I took the time to think about how to best market myself for success.
To anyone interested in joining the adult industry, my main piece of advice would be knowing how to present yourself to your audience. Spend some time learning about what works and what doesn’t, study the platforms you want to use and put in a lot of time in front of the camera! You can’t expect an audience to connect with you if you don’t know exactly who you are. As I said before, my name is my brand, and I’m the only one who can fill that role.
