Making great content — video clips and pictures — for your fans is fun and easy, even if you’re mainly a cam model. In a world that relies heavily on digital content, camming is the perfect place to jump online, explore your creativity and act on your sexual desires.
In this article, I discuss a variety of guidelines that will help you produce some of the best content out there while camming. Don’t just follow my suggestions; push yourself in making content that will blow your fans away!
If you are using a video camera or phone to record, get in the habit of always shooting in landscape mode.
Tell a Story
With every great love story, the biggest suggestion is to tell a story. No matter what kind of camming performance you’re capturing on video, you need to tap into human emotions to get your audience engaged in your content.
Think about your theme and why it is important for the viewer. Are you sharing something that really turns them on and explores your desires as well as theirs? Connecting with your audience is so important not only to put on a great show, but to feel amazing by the connections you are making.
Think Visually
Once you know what your personal story is, you must think of a great way to express it to your audience visually. Ask yourself, what is the feeling that your recorded video will have, whether it’s a brief portion of your camming or capturing a lengthy clip?
If the feeling is grimy and naughty, maybe choose a location that supports that feeling for your background during camming. Do you want to convey the feeling of being spied on while at work? Create an office desk setup and have your webcam under your desk or looking down on you so viewers get the feeling of spying from a unique angle.
Record in Landscape Mode
If you are using a video camera or phone to record, get in the habit of always shooting in landscape mode. This will make it much easier to view on a computer screen and your fans will get the full immersive experience. Let them see every detail and angle of your show.
Audio
It’s important that your audience hears you more than background music or noise if you want them to feel fully connected to what they are watching. One piece of advice I like to give is to make sure you record in a quiet environment and use an external microphone if you have one.
You should also refrain from too much talking during your recorded performances, unless the scenario calls for it (like a JOI clip) or it’s a custom performance that the viewer has requested. When you are not focusing on what you’re saying, you’re able to get into what you’re doing … and that’s hot.
Lighting
Adding professional lighting or having a well-lit room helps tremendously. Think about multiple light sources and play with different lighting setups you feel you look the best in. Fans are drawn to content shot in well-lit environments.
Engage Your Audience
In addition to all the suggested tips I have outlined, one of the most important tips I can give is engagement. This plays a massive role in your shows and the ways in which you connect with fans.
Create an environment where you use eye contact to connect with your audience, as this will take your recorded show from being good, to being a viewer favorite that they share. Talk to your fans, play with your fans and tease your fans. Give them something to yearn for each show and allow them to feel more engaged than ever before. The extra enthusiasm will carry over to the recorded content.
As we continue to move forward in the digital age of social media and social content, push yourself to be the best performer you can be. When you really enjoy the content you are creating, you will notice your fan base growing.
