Dominating the Clips Game

Dominating the Clips Game

It’s been a little over a year since I started my femdom clip store with iWantClips. In that time I’ve had many eye-opening experiences and have even met a lot of amazing dommes within the industry. I’ve developed relationships with finsubs and have even cut some off. I’ve really identified with the financial dominatrix in me. My journey has been empowering and encouraged me to evolve.

The most important lesson I’ve learned is to be consistent. Uploading clips consistently is the key to success as an independent clip producer. You don’t have to release a new clip every day like me, but you do have to be consistent. It’s better to release one clip every week than it is to drop four clips all in a day.

Since I’m so spontaneous, it’s good practice for me to take wardrobe, camera and laptop bags wherever I go.

I shoot clips every week so that I can have enough content to update my store daily. I also set aside time every week to edit the clips, write a description and make the preview trailers. For the most part, it takes me longer to shoot the clips than it does to edit them. I try to keep it simple, but every once in a while, I’ll put more effort into editing. I might throw in some audio and visual effects if it’s a magical, smoking or hypno clip. While I’m editing, I make a document where I record the title, description and tags of the clip. It helps me to keep track of what’s finished and ready to be posted.

Since I’m so spontaneous, it’s good practice for me to take wardrobe, camera and laptop bags wherever I go. I also make sure that my nails and eyebrows are always camera-ready, because I’ve been known to get sudden impulses to camp on a mountain or rent a hotel on a beach. I love shooting clips when I’m traveling! I can even get some editing done on the road sometimes. Actually, road trips are perfect for editing since you don’t need internet to do that and you’re sitting in one place for hours anyway. Once I get to my destination, I’ll upload a few clips for the week, especially if I won’t have service to upload in the next few days. Then, when I’m checked in or have my camp set up, I’ll get ready to shoot.

Getting ready starts with a shower, scrubbing and shaving. Then I moisturize my face and use body oil from my neck down. I let my hair air dry while picking out wardrobe and fixing up my sets. Once I know where I’m shooting and what I’m wearing, I’ll start my makeup. Makeup can take from 20 minutes to an hour depending on the look. I might style my hair with a straightener or leave it natural.

However, when I’m not on the road, I like to hire my favorite makeup artist to glam me up. Lexi makes amazing vintage looks! She airbrushes the makeup for a flawless finish and does my hair up like a doll. On those days, I’ll shoot more clips to make the most of my made-up look.

When I’m on the road, I’ll shoot two or three clips in a day and when I’m home I shoot at least 10. I feel like it’s good to have a goal of how many clips to make, but the best clips are always made when you’re inspired. I’ll shoot way past my goal when I’m feeling inspired. If I’m feeling tired, I’ll cut it short. It’s important to honor yourself and take a break when needed. That’s why it’s so important to be consistent. If you accumulate a backlog of clips, you won’t stress over taking time off. I can shoot 15-20 clips in a day, but I feel like it’s better to shoot 10 clips once a week, than 15-20 clips every other week.

On top of being a writer, director, producer, makeup artist, stylist, photographer, videographer and editor, I also do social media marketing. I believe that social media is the most effective form of online marketing for sex workers and Twitter is my favorite platform. Although my trailers don’t show nudity, my freedom of expression is essential to my success. I could show my ass in a thong whenever I want and nobody can stop me. I had an Instagram with 699,000 followers that was deleted about a year ago and I don’t have one anymore. The promotional content on my Twitter pages @JennaSativa and @TheSativaEmpire is 100 percent up to me and has had a significant influence on my success.

When I was in high school, I wanted to be a sex therapist. I was fascinated with sexuality and the mind. Dressing up and taking photos and videos had also been a passion of mine. I would put together costumes from whatever I could find and then experiment with make-up, angles and lighting. Then I’d sit and edit everything on photoshop to get it ready for social media. Even when people couldn’t physically see me, they were always attracted to my mind through my online presence.

I’ve found a hobby in which I excel that pays me very well and includes all of the things that I love! I get to travel and explore the world. I’m always adventuring and trying new things. I feel like I’m constantly discovering myself, evolving and leveling up. Every time I shoot, I have more fun discovering where it takes me.

The type of clips I enjoy making the most would probably be orgasm denial, goddess worship and financial domination. I love to tease and deny, I love being worshipped and I love be spoiled; it’s the trifecta! Apart from selling femdom clips, I also offer custom clip orders, phone calls, private messages and more only on iWantJennaSativa.com!
