Travel Like Never Before, Thanks to Camming

Travel Like Never Before, Thanks to Camming

Growing up poor, I did not get to experience the world much in terms of exploration and travel. Not letting my past upbringing stop me, I have found a means to travel through achieving my ambitions. To do all the things I have always aspired to do — whether that was a 14-hour long road trip to Nova Scotia or a visit to Vancouver — I found a way to make my goals and dreams become a reality. Cam modeling has been that means, allowing me to do what I love and to acquire an abundance of income.

Beforehand, my jobs didn't allow me the freedom of work and travel, especially the jobs I had as options in Quebec, which were factory or farm work. Being an English speaking Quebecker really impacted my options in a French dominant province. I love being able to dress up and socialize, but in Quebec it’s mandatory to speak French to be able to work with the public. That left me with jobs less desirable and less satisfying.

Ambition, innovation and willingness to grow are very important in this industry. I believe you need to provide new kinds of content, consistently, in order to keep members intrigued and meet new clients.

I had discovered web camming two-and-a-half years ago through a MyFreeCams model on Instagram while being bedridden from mono and burned out from working three jobs a week (two factory and one farm). I was in a position that I needed to change my life or ultimately give up. During this pressing time, I decided on a 10-step “change my life” plan, where being a nude livestreamer was the first step.

Sex work saved me, changed the direction I was going in and set a pathway to achieving greatness within myself. It then allowed me not only to help myself but also help those around me and give back to those that aided me when I could not afford food. Camming opened up other opportunities such as fulfilling my passion to explore and travel. The freedom of being my own boss has legitimately altered my life for the better and I'm very grateful for this opportunity to share my passions with others.

Alongside traveling, I also love being a cam model because you’re surrounded by people who choose to support you. Mean or rude people you can simply block and move on past. At my old jobs I did not get to choose who I could work with, I often got bullied at my old factory job daily and over time that really destroyed my self-esteem and confidence, whereas being a web cam model has instilled a sense of self-worth, empowerment, confidence and has given me time to work on my self-love and happiness.

Going camping, hiking, seeing new places and sharing it with my followers the best way I can, is really rewarding and fulfilling. I set goals that help fund trips, use travel and exploration to create interesting and creative content that later I sell, to help pay for the adventure itself. I love sharing my life through the perspective of my sensuality, the beauty of nature and nudity, and even getting risky and daring with the content I create.

Ambition, innovation and willingness to grow are very important in this industry. I believe you need to provide new kinds of content, consistently, in order to keep members intrigued and meet new clients. I have found that for me, in the world of “here and now,” members want fast access to the things they've tipped for. They want to live it up. That is why I love using my cell phone and Snapchat. Phones are small, practical and deliver the content efficiently, discretely and immediately.

Essentially, I vlog my whole day on Snapchat, send private snaps and then also provide snaps to the different tiers I have, based on the level of involvement of each member. Everyone gets something and they get it in the moment it happens, which as a society we crave and want. We want to see what everyone is doing as they are doing it.

Almost all of my adventures are sponsored by my members. I have been on three adventures this year and Miami will be the fourth one. I'm grateful to be able to do what I love and share it. Without you guys I would not be here. Thank you to those who continue to support me, it means the world to me.

Before founding VerifyMy, Ryan Shaw was simply looking for an age verification solution for his previous business. It's Time to Rock the Vote and Make Your Voice Heard

When I worked to defeat California’s Proposition 60 in 2016, our opposition campaign was outspent nearly 10 to 1. Nevertheless, our community came together and garnered enough support and awareness to defeat that harmful, misguided piece of proposed legislation — by more than a million votes.

Account-to-Account Payments: The New Banking Disruptor?

So much of our industry relies upon Visa and Mastercard to support consumer payments — and with that reliance comes increased scrutiny by both brands. From a compliance perspective, the bar keeps getting raised until it feels like we end up spending half our time making sure we are compliant rather than growing our business.
