Studio 20 Perfects Cam Model Magic

Studio 20 Perfects Cam Model Magic

Hello there! I’m Sophy Davis.

Some call me Soph, Sofia, cutie pie, honey, mistress, whatever.

The help that I received while working in Studio 20 meant the world to me, and it still does. I value my experience here more than I value anything else.

I’ve been a cam model for a year and a half and it changed my life.

I never thought that I could go through so many things in a year ... or how much a year can change everything that you can ever think about your life.

My first interaction with camming was by myself. I tried it from home but I had no luck with it. I was doing everything wrong, from how I was positioning myself in front of the camera, to the lightning, the time spent on cam, the willpower and just about everything.

Now, I’m not saying that you can’t cam from home — I know a lot of models that do it and are doing very well, but I am not one of them. I think that in order to become an amazing home-based model, you need to have done it before from a studio or you need someone to help you. Camming is not like it was a few years back. Your competition is tough and you need to get your name out there.

A few years ago it wasn’t like that. Of course, there were fewer cam sites and the requirements were fewer. You could just go online anytime you wanted, nobody cared how your room looked or what the streaming quality was like. As long as you had a bank account and were willing to undress, you were good.

Nowadays, since people have seen how much money you can make out of camming, everybody stepped up their game. And I believe that is a good thing: glamour models, online support and training, quality streaming and traffic is what helps a model make good money.

So, after I realized I couldn’t do it on my own and I needed some help, I turned to a cam studio, Studio 20. Before then, let me tell you, I’ve done all the “dont’s” in the industry.

I started off thinking that members were there to pay money to see me and that they should be happy to do so, just because my gorgeous ass was in front of the camera. Wrong! Obviously, there are members that like to be treated like crap but that’s a different side of fetish that I won’t get into right now. I didn’t talk to guests, and I sometimes ignored members that I thought didn’t have money. I took breaks every hour. I didn’t show up on time. I didn’t fix my make-up. I lost nights partying in clubs, rather than camming seriously.

And then I wondered why I wasn’t making money … why my trainers would say that they have models making thousands and thousands of dollars when I only made $200 a shift ... if that. I rebelled and said that it’s not for me, that I need fast money, that I don’t have time to wait.

Well, you know what, honey? When you’re starting anything in this world, all you have is time and all you need to do is put in the time and effort. Remember that you’re working for your own future. No one else is.

A cam girl must understand that being beautiful won’t make men want to give you money. Once you realize that, the next step is to see what you can do to become an interesting person, to improve yourself. It’s all about improvement, believing in yourself, making yourself a better person.

So what I did was I took English lessons, make-up lessons and general knowledge lessons, history lessons, geography, arts etc. I studied so much this last year, more than I ever did in school — and I regret that now, the years I spent not paying attention in school. I regret that because I thought that being a pretty girl would mean people giving me money.

And that’s just not how this works.

If any girls that are in school are reading this, put your head in those books! If you want to become a doctor, a lawyer, a cam girl or a porn star, you need to stay smart. Ignorance is not cute, nor is it sexy. It sure won’t get you money, fame or a good man.

I fixed my attitude and polished myself, because the site I work on, LiveJasmin, is a promoter of glamour models and they won’t allow you to look less than perfect. That’s not sexist at all, it’s something that a lot of women forget: to be sexy, to be delicate, to be lady-like.

Then, I started dancing, moving, laughing, finding new and interesting topics with my members, creating friendships and regulars. I started taking notes about them. I was genuinely interested in their lives, wanted to know more about them and that started to show in my income also.

But the funny thing is, that I didn’t even check my earnings anymore. I couldn’t wait to go on cam again to talk to my favorite people, to have fun and to be their center of attention.

You see, this is what happens when you’re genuine: you build and create relationships with other people. You learn about their lives, you know what they like or dislike, you build friendships. My regular members knew when something bad happened in my family, when I was super happy, when I changed my apartment and they were real, they cared.

Once you are earning money, once you start seeing cam modeling as a career and not just a job, once your mindset is “be independent, improve yourself” there’s nothing that can hold you back.

It’s so important for women to be more independent financially these days and yes, in 2017 there is still an issue all around the world with girls that wait for other people to give them money, who try it the easy way, who don’t understand or have been taught wrong and they’re not doing the most for themselves.

My ongoing experience with camming has taught me a great deal about myself and I can’t stress this enough. It has taught me to be wiser, it has shown me who I really am, it has allowed me to be my own boss, to understand why there are rules and that those rules help you get your shit together and put you on the right track. The help that I received while working in Studio 20 meant the world to me, and it still does. I value my experience here more than I value anything else.

So, for all the girls that are new cam models, for the girls that are thinking of starting it, for the girls that have started it and aren’t making money, just know that if you put in the hours, if you fix your attitude, if you allow yourself to be great, if you have patience, you’re going to get there. Don’t waste your time looking for easy money, don’t be lazy, don’t be greedy. Listen, learn and put wisdom into action. You’re going to do great!
