Capitalizing on Cam Viewers’ Niche Interests

Capitalizing on Cam Viewers’ Niche Interests

Hey everyone! Since I wrote the last article, my professional career has done a slight about face. We are relaunching our internal co-brand, PlayWithMe.com, to be a site where models can play video games, either as a voyeur or with the members online.

This is something that we are introducing, because I am personally a gamer and also quite persistent. If you look at what teens are doing now, you can see the trends that will influence what is going to be happening in the camming industry. They are the future customers, and trendsetters for technology.

It doesn’t matter if it’s video games, sports, cars, superheroes, etc. If you are a woman that’s into the same thing as a man, you will have his interest over the models that are online just looking to get naked or have a sex show.

I mentioned it before, but it is more imperative now, if you want to be successful as a cam model, you have to stand out somehow. If you have interests in the same things as the potential members you are trying to attract, you will have much more success than others that are just doing the same as everyone else. This seems intuitive, but looking over all of the major cam sites, this is not happening with frequency.

Models have, in the past, been creatures of habit; in other words, other models mimic whatever the top models are doing. Which is a great way to get your creative juices flowing, but sometimes catering to your personality is better than doing what works for other models.

My recommendation is to keep on top of pop culture in the U.S. and find something there that touches you. Clearly define who your target audience is and then do some research on the things that are popular with them. You have the best research tool ever in YouTube — use that to your advantage. Then, after you zero in on a few things, outfit yourself and your room accordingly.

There is nothing sexier to members than a sexy woman who shares their passions. It doesn’t matter if it’s video games, sports, cars, superheroes, etc. If you are a woman that’s into the same thing as a man, you will have his interest over the models that are online just looking to get naked or have a sex show. Sharing the members’ interests will give you more to talk about which will lead to you building a relationship, and that’s how you get quality members.

In the end, what I’m advising all of you to do is to find some time to play some video games. As a gamer, I can tell you that after I have a really bad day, I play Grand Theft Auto online. It is relaxing in a weird way and after participating online, and watching online videos, if you are an attractive girl playing the game, you’re going to get more traffic than you know what to do with.

Until next time, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at shamilton@ffn.com. No matter which site you work for, I’m willing to give advice to all models.

How to Halt Hackers as Fraud Attacks Rise

For hackers, it’s often a game of trial and error. Bad actors will perform enumeration and account testing, repeating the same test on a system to look for vulnerabilities — and if you are not equipped with the proper tools, your merchant account could be the next target.
