There Will Be No Walls at XBIZ Berlin

As you might have seen already on Facebook and other industry sources, TrafficPartner.com and XBIZ.com have partnered up to bring one of the biggest adult industry shows to Germany.

I have been part of this industry now for more than 15 years, and I can tell you that I am beyond excited that this partnership came to life!

XBIZ Berlin will provide everyone with unlimited opportunities, focusing on all kind of aspects of international business.

Many of you know that I started out in Hamburg, Germany, helping to build one of the largest E.U. affiliate programs, Sexmoney.com, bringing it to international markets. Since then, I have moved on to help develop an international payment processing company, Webbilling.com, and later moving to the U.S. I think I know “both worlds” at least a little bit.

A few months ago in Barcelona, I had a “memory lane” conversation with Andreas Bischoff, where his thoughts were very much aligned with my own, and we spoke about a “back in the day” panel called, “Building Bridges Between the U.S. and Europe.” I believe this was 13 years ago. A lot has changed and improved over all these years.

Many bridges have been built, but are we done with this? I don’t really think so! For sure, we started learning about geo-targeting, selling and buying international traffic both ways, implementing alternative payment methods, and everyone started attending international adult industry shows, making friends and starting great business partnerships.

But do we really understand these different markets? Do we really understand all these different cultures — in B2C as much as in B2B? Again, I don’t think so!

XBIZ Berlin will provide everyone with unlimited opportunities, focusing on all kind of aspects of international business. We will not only provide panels but also very interesting workshops for webmasters from all around the world. There are many more stones to be set out and bridges to be build.

And trust me, fun will also be a big part of this show.

On a very personal note: I love Berlin! It is so full of history and culture and should be on everyone’s bucket list!

For those who don’t know a lot about its history, let me give you a short roundup.

Berlin, Germany’s capital and cultural center, dates to the 13th century.

It has been divided during the Cold War into different sectors, and I believe that this is very unique up to today. Even before World War II, Berlin was known as a world city due to its leading roles in science, the humanities, music, museums, higher education, government, diplomacy and military affairs.

During this war it has been very much destroyed by bombing, artillery and ferocious street fighting.

At the end of the war, greater Berlin was divided into four sectors by the Allies under the London Protocol of 1944 — the American, British, French and Soviet sectors.

In 1961, the communist East German government started to build “The Wall,” which is probably known by everyone in the world. It caused more deaths and pain to humans than anyone can only imagine.

Today it's known for its art scene, nightlife and modern architecture. Reminders of the city's turbulent 20th-century history include its Holocaust Memorial and the Berlin Wall's graffitied remains. Its 18th-century Brandenburg Gate has become an iconic symbol of reunification.

You love music? Well, this is the place to go! With tons of live music places of every genre, but especially house and rock, you will not be disappointed!

So go and get your ticket and make travel plans!

This event is free for affiliates so make sure you sign up!

I am looking forward to seeing every single one of you there!
