Peekay Opens Second Oregon Retail Store

LOS ANGELES — Peekay, Inc. has opened its second Portland-area Lovers retail store, located at 3300 SW Cedar Hills Boulevard in Beaverton, Ore.

Last May, Lovers opened its first area location on SE 82nd Avenue near Clackamas Town Center.

Lovers stores specialize in lingerie and sexual wellness products. Featuring beautifully appointed, well-lit shopping environments, friendly and knowledgeable sales associates, and a wide selection of lingerie, massage essentials, aphrodisiacs and sexual aids, bachelorette and party supplies, and couples' toys, Lovers execs say the shopping experience is ideal for women and couples looking to enhance their romantic relationships.

"The Portland-Vancouver area has embraced and supported us at our Clackamas store, and we're thrilled to open a second store to serve Westside communities in the marketplace," said Martin Walker, director of marketing for Peekay. "Many of our customers requested a store in this area and we're very happy to be here in Beaverton."

Lovers has been a Northwest institution since Peekay opened its first store in Burien, Wash., in 1981. In business for more than 30 years, the company has expanded to California, Texas, Tennessee, and Iowa. In addition to Lovers, Peekay also operates stores under the A Touch of Romance, ConRev, and Christal's brands.

The new Beaverton Lovers store, which opened on Feb. 8, will celebrate with a Grand Opening event Friday, March 8 to Sunday, March 10.
