Progressive Pact: Pjur Group Penetrates Market in India

Pjur Group, manufacturers of an award-winning line of lubricants, said that until now, the government in India has never permitted companies to offer erotic products in that country.

With that, Pjur reports that the new online shop thatspersonal.com is the first in India that has been authorized to officially distribute lubricants, erotic literature, lingerie, accessories, and erotic games from quality brands, including Pjur.

Thatspersonal.com lives up to the quality standards we expect from our partners, and we are proud to be one of the first brands to open up the Indian market with Samir. -Alexander Giebel, CEO and founder of Pjur Group.

The company says that pornography is still banned in India, there are rigorous restrictions on the sale of sex toys, and homosexuality and pre-marital sex are still frowned upon across the nation. Samir Saraiya, the CEO of That’s Personal, has taken a great risk pursuing his idea, but now his online shop is the first 100% legal source for erotic products on the Indian internet.

The thatspersonal.com range includes a total of 11 Pjur products. Among other things, there are Pjur items especially for women, including Pjur Woman on silicone basis, the water-based Pjur Woman Aqua, or Pjur My Glide for female stimulation. For the male audience, the Internet store offers the Pjur Man Basic silicone lubricant, Pjur Man Basic Waterglide, and the performance-enhancing Pjur Superhero Glide. Moreover, the range also includes the top-seller Pjur Original and numerous other high quality lubricants for great pleasure, alone or with a partner.

“Thatspersonal.com lives up to the quality standards we expect from our partners, and we are proud to be one of the first brands to open up the Indian market with Samir,” explained Alexander Giebel, CEO and founder of Pjur Group.

In February, pjur expanded its distribution with the addition of Orion Wholesale, which is now offering all of the pjur Group’s 82 products as part of their assortment.

Pjur group is headquartered in Wasserbillig, Luxembourg, and is an international company whose products are sold in more than 50 countries on five continents. The portfolio comprises more than 40 products in six different categories, including lubricant and massage gels.
