Hooters is venturing into the hotel and casino field. The restaurant chain known for its sexually suggestive name and attractive young waitresses clad in skimpy, tight-fitting outfits has inked a deal to manage the Hotel San Remo.
Hooters Air said Saturday it has expanded its fleet and is flying to more cities. It now flys to Baltimore/Washington; Columbus, Ohio; Ft. Myers, Fla.; Myrtle Beach, Fla; Newark, N.J., Chicago and Nassau in the Bahamas. Flights start at $99 roundtrip.
A former general manager of a new Hooters restaurant faces up to 19 years in state prison for allegedly secretly taping 14 applicants as they changed into waitress uniforms during job interviews. The man pleaded not guilty to all charges and was held on $500,000 bail.
