Spike, Playboy Team Up for 'Playmate Show & Tell'

LOS ANGELES — Playboy has launched "Playmate Show & Tell," a new online original series. It's the first project under Spike Digital Entertainment's digital development and production deal with Playboy.com.

Alta Loma Entertainment, Playboy's in-house production division which is also involved in the recent film "The House Bunny" and E! Entertainment's "The Girls Next Door," also participated in the development and production.

"We're very excited to be able to welcome the iconic Playboy brand to Spike.com and to present 'Playmate Show & Tell' as the first of many joint ventures with them," said Jon Slusser, senior vice president of digital & video games for Spike TV. "'Playmate Show & Tell' is the perfect blend of beautiful women, humor and information guys need that is sure to resonate with our audience."

"Playmate Show & Tell" is hosted by three Playboy Playmates — Playmate of the Year 2008 Jayde Nicole, Playmate of the Year 2007 Sara Jean Underwood and Miss May 2006 Alison Waite — and premieres on spike.com, playboy.com and a dedicated website, Playmate.Spike.com.

The series teaches young men how to deal with women in a variety of potentially awkward situations. In each of the 10 online episodes, the Playmates travel to new locations to give guys a hands-on lesson in dealing with the opposite sex.

"At Playboy, our goal is to continually create compelling content for our global audience by leveraging the combined power of our iconic lifestyle brand and Playmate franchise," said Chris Petrovic, vice president of Playboy Media Group. "Partnering with Spike, we collaboratively have developed the first of many programs that achieves this goal and I am confident that our combined audiences will be really pleased."

"Playmate Show & Tell" is a 10-episode online series, with a new episode premiering each week.
