Traffic Dude Joins IAB as 1st General Member Adult Agency

PUEBLO, Colo. — Adult Internet advertising agency Traffic Dude has been accepted for general membership with the Interactive Advertising Bureau.

"We are pleased to be the first pure play adult focused interactive media agency to be accepted for membership by the IAB," Traffic Dude cofounder Scott Rabinowitz said. "As a company, we are committed to maintaining the highest operating standards and business practices, both overall and specifically related to our participation in the interactive media business. The IAB is at the forefront of establishing best practices for the online advertising realm, which we seek to implement and educate people about across the adult industry."

IAB membership includes more than 375 media and technology companies that sell 86 percent of online advertising in the U.S. Representing its membership, the IAB promotes the growth of the interactive advertising marketplace, the growth of the share of total marketing that goes to interactive, and the growth of its members' share of total marketing spending.

The IAB educates marketers, agencies, media companies and the business community about the value of interactive advertising. Working with its member companies, the IAB evaluates and recommends standards and practices and fields critical research on interactive advertising.

Founded in 1996, the IAB is headquartered in New York City and maintains a public policy office in Washington, D.C.
