Under the terms of the two-year contract, Gage will write and direct 10 exclusive movies for the company’s TitanMen label.
According to Titan’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing Keith Webb, Gage comes to Titan from an established past as a gay adult icon, with 25 years of experience under his belt.
Gage previously directed several movies for Titan including “Men’s Room: Bakersfield Station,” “Back To Barstow,” “110 Degrees in Tucson" and the soon-to-be released “Alabama Takedown.”
Gage is best known for his “road” trilogy of films from the late 1970s titled “Kansas City Trucking Co.,” “El Paso Wrecking Corp.” and “L.A. Tool & Die.”
Gage said that his reason for signing a multiyear deal with San Francisco-based Titan is because of the resources, technical support and creative freedom the company has given him with past projects.
"I am very pleased that Joe has committed to furthering our existing partnership and friendship," Bruce Cam, Titan Media CEO, said. "Joe is truly a moviemaker and we are committed to giving him the creative freedom to make movies the way he wants to make them. There is nobody in our industry who can tell a story and make a movie better than Joe Gage. We are honored that Joe has chosen Titan Media as his directorial home."
