Atlanta Forum Day 2: Deal Making Over Drinks

ATLANTA – Saturday marked the final day of the Atlanta Forum, an inaugural show that host Tony Morgan of NationalNet said was a rounding success and confirmed that next year’s show will be held in September 2009.

The final day kicked off with a bang as attendees flocked to the pool for complimentary margaritas on behalf of Bos Bucks. Bikini-clad blonds jumped in and out of the pool as a group of industry names, including PimpMansion’s Sharky, prepared for a belly flop competition. Sharky took home the champion title.

Meanwhile others recovered from a night of poker and video games by focusing on getting organized, a task discussed in one of two seminars held at 11 a.m.

Those who felt their business lives were already in order attended “The Art of Leadership,” where speaker Tony Roberts discussed the importance of focusing on the big picture and building a team of stellar employees who will last for the long haul.

As a hotel-wide happy hour began guest comedian Mark Klein brought the seminar component of the show to a close with a hilarious keynote presentation.

Morgan and the NationalNet crew said a final farewell at Opera Night Club where attendees danced the night away to the hip-hop and mash-up beats of one of Morgan’s favorite DJ's.

Morgan told XBIZ that he was quite pleased by the turnout of his first show and was proud to hear all of the positive feedback offered by most of the reported 300 attendees.

“Every person I've talked to has said they've done enough business to pay for the trip and then some,” Morgan said. “I couldn't have done it without my team and I can’t wait to top this one with next years show. There will be without a doubt a 2009 Atlanta Forum.”
