MuscleBearClub.com Announces Winner for 2008

SAN FRANCISCO — Michael, a red-headed bear with freckles and a beard, was crowned Mr. Muscle Bear Cub 2008 at the Muscle Bear Club Contest held last week at Truck in San Francisco.

The contest coincided with the city's Bear Week celebration and the Harrison Street Fair.

Emcee Tom Orr, a model and musician, rallied the crowd with an opening number written especially for the contest.

Five contestants were chosen to compete. The contest included each the men taking off their shirts and reciting a "bear haiku" on the spot.

A set of 150 photos of the event is now available for VIP members of LavenderLounge.com. The site also features a members-only photo gallery of bears, cubs and otters.
