In February, the self-proclaimed happiest man alive formed an adult talent agency called Bad Ass Models. With Superiority Complex Pictures, he promises “very real” sex and very good writing with a comedic bend.
"If I can include a couple good laughs with a couple good orgasms, I figure I'm giving people the two things they want most in life," Prather told XBiz, adding that he wants to highlight his performer’s personalities and acting talents in the films.
Prather has started filming the line’s premier release, “After School Special #1: Bad Ass Girls Club,” starring Hailey Young, Tricia Oaks and newcomer Jessica Hanson, among others. The video is comprised of a series of vignettes that combine sick humor and hardcore sex.
"It plays off the idea that all good girls want to be bad, and bad girls help them achieve that," Prather told XBiz.
He said he took a "Curb Your Enthusiasm" approach to the movie, giving the performers a basic story line for each vignette, running them through a few imporvisation excercises, then telling them to have fun with it.
The video will be ready for release in September, followed by two similarly themed titles per month.
“The school-girl theme will remain but with a different storyline for each movie,” Prather said. “Other titles will follow, all based on my twisted and unique vision. While one of my movies might all have a comedic edge, one might be lighthearted and fun while the next is dark and edgy.”
Although Prather will direct the first few videos in the Superiority Complex stable, he said he plans to add cutting-edge directors to the company’s roster and match specific talents with specific projects.
Prather added that he will look for star potential when selecting directors, especially those who are able to “think big, outrageous, explosive.”
“Ultimately, I’ll produce quality films with amazing sex scenes that raise the bar in adult entertainment,” he said.
As for the rather boastful name of the company, Prather said it's all in good fun. "It's playing off the whole 'Bad Ass Frank' thing," he said. "It's an ongoing joke, that half of me is arrogant and the other half wants to be loved. It's me laughing at myself."
