“Krista Ayne will be playing a gorgeous, young trophy wife and mother that tries to seduce the ZO2 band,” Penthouse Publicity Manager Lainie Speiser said.
“As always, we are sure she will once again prove how captivating, charming and versatile she is,” Speiser added. “We at Penthouse have always been very proud of her achievements with us and in other areas of her career.”
“Z Rock” is described as based on a “kinda” true story of a band called ZO2, which plays hard rock at night, and is a children’s band during the day.
The Spinal Tap-like parody will also feature guests appearances by former Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach, John Popper [Blues Traveler], Dee Snider [Twisted Sister] comedians Joan Rivers and Gilbert Gottfried, as well as rocker/adult director Dave Navarro, among others.
Ayne has also made appearances on the Howard Stern Show, Fuse TV, Spike TV, numerous magazine covers and in several music videos, including videos for singer Jesse McCartney, as well as rappers 50 Cent, Devin Lima and Usher.
The series premieres Sunday, Aug. 24, at 11:30 p.m. For more information, visit the IFC website /a>.
