Ryder Skye, Kelly Skyline Mikayla Mendez, Charmane Star and their respective beaus are interviewed for the blog, which focuses mainly on how men handle the fact that their wives are in the adult industry. Only one was willing to use his full name for the article, but for most of the men profiled, their spouse’s occupation was not a touchy subject.
"My feeling was, if she does it, cool," said Ryan, who is a 23-year-old car detailer and married to Skyline. "It wasn't a big deal either way."
While three of the four said that they have no problem watching any of their wife’s films, one — Kenneth Austin, who is married to Charmane Star — said that he completely avoids Star’s films because he believes it’s the only way for their relationship to work. While he doesn’t have a problem with Star’s profession, he is glad that the starlet is no longer doing boy/girl.
"When she did do it [with guys], it was hard for me to deal with,” Austin said in the blog. “But my attitude is that if you can find a cool girl . . . good for you."
Bill, who is married to Ryder Skye, said he just looks at his wife’s occupation like he would any other.
"I don't look at it as sex," he said. "I look at it as a guy with his dick in my wife, but they're working and it's not emotional. She never orgasms in porn. That's for us. If it happened on the set, it would be a little weird."
Mendez and her husband Rusty have a three-year-old son who is about to start school soon and Rusty says his biggest worry is having to divulge Mendez’s job to fellow school parents. Rusty said he’s planning to run interference and try to avoid the discussion altogether.
"I'll play Mr. Mom,” he said. “I'll go to school and interact with the parents."
