Spearmint Rhino Charity Golf Tournament Slated for Oct.

LOS ANGELES — The Spearmint Rhino Gentlemen’s Clubs will host its second charity golf tournament on Oct. 13, 2008.

This year’s tournament will be held at the private La Canada Flintridge Country Club near Pasadena, Calif. The 144-player tournament will have a shotgun start at 1 p.m. and likely will feature a number of high profile executives and Spearmint Rhino VIPs. Kelley, Jiggins & Associates will be the title sponsor at this year’s tournament.

Players will receive free lunch on the course, gift bags and free Spearmint Rhino promotional items. The lunch — featuring hamburgers, hot dogs and other traditional picnic fare — will be sponsored by US Foods.

The tournament will feature closest to the pin, longest drive and hole-in-one contests, where winners will receive a trophy, cash prizes and more.

A feature new to this year’s tournament is that players can go to any Southern California Spearmint Rhino , Rouge Gentlemen’s Club or Blue Zebra Cabaret and pick their favorite entertainer to caddy for them at the tournament. Interested participants should inquire with club management.

Players also will have a chance to bid, auction-style, for available Rhino girls to be their caddies on the day of the tournament.

As he did last year, Danny Bonaduce from daytime talk radio station Free FM will make a special guest appearance.

An awards dinner and banquet will be held right after the tournament, including a silent auction and the entire 144-player field will be invited to attend.

This year’s tournament will once again be donating proceeds to Savannah’s Organic Ranch, a non-profit organization helping the fight against childhood cancer. Last year’s tournament raised more than $10,000 for the organization.

Interested parties should visit www.spearmintrhino.com/golf , or call Spearmint Rhino Worldwide Headquarters at (951) 371-3788.
