“Sex Sessions, Vol. 1” is the debut Black Rat title and streets at the end of September.
“Black Scorpion always has been driven by the desires of our customers. They tell us what they want and we strive to give it to them,” Balck Scorpion Marketing & Promotions Director James Ian said.
Black Scorpion launched in 2006 with a focus on storyline-driven erotica, lushly photographed imagery and multinational casts.
“Black Rat movies will have the same high production values that we’re known for, but this is an all-sex line,” Ian told XBIZ. “Black Scorpion is all about dreamy, erotic fantasy. Black Rat is more hardcore, more aggressive.”
He said the idea of a fan-driven contest to name the Black Rat mascot was a perfect fit.
“It felt like a great way to involve our fans from the beginning and reward them for their loyalty,” Ian said. “We want them to know we appreciate their spreading the word about us and for supporting Black Scorpion from day one.”
The Black Rat mascot is an anthropomorphized rat, bare-chested with chin stubble and a protruding crotch. His accoutrements include leather boots, a nipple ring and devilish grin. The rat also is giving an obscene hand gesture.

There are no restrictions as to the number of entries. The winner will be chosen by Black Scorpion’s owners and receive all seven of the studio’s DVDs: “Dreams of Rafael”; “Obsessions of D.O.”; “Man Island”; “Hunger”; “Cuma Sutra”; plus the forthcoming “Sex Hiker” and “Sex Sessions, Vol. 1.”
