Maleflixxx Gets Internet Exclusive on ‘Cuma Sutra’

TORONTO — Gay video-on-demand network Maleflixxx has announced the exclusive Web release of production company Black Scorpion’s “Cuma Sutra.” The movie will be available on the VOD network on Aug. 1.

Filmed entirely on location in a yoga retreat in southern Washington State, the title stars Black Scorpion exclusive D.O., Derek Rivero and Rocko, among others.

Black Scorpion opened for production in mid-2007 and has since made a name for itself as a New York City-based producer of high-end niche content, with titles like “Dreams of Rafael” and “Obsession of D.O.,” both starring Rafael Alencar.

Both films are available on Maleflixxx and, according to Black Scorpion Marketing Director James Ian, been very popular with the network’s users.

“After the hugely successful launch of our first two movies on the Maleflixxx network, ‘Dreams of Rafael’ and ‘Obsession of D.O.,’ with both going to the No. 1 position on the most watched movies, we are very excited about the debut of ‘Cuma Sutra’ and hope all the fans will appreciate and enjoy the movie as much as we had making it,” Ian said.

Further attention is being drawn to the studio by exclusive model D.O., who appears on the July/August cover of Genre magazine, and the August cover of Germany’s Männer magazine.

The magazines also feature layouts of D.O. shot by photographer Rick Day, who also contributed to upcoming coffee table book “The Different Sides of D.O.” The book is scheduled for release in December and partial proceeds from the book sales will benefit HIV awareness charities.

Maleflixxx is planning an aggressive marketing campaign for Black Scorpion’s titles, which will be aimed at consumers and Maleflixxx affiliate members.

“Cuma Sutra is truly and incredible film of the highest quality and it deserves maximum exposure,” Sureflix Digital Distribution President Eric Johnson said. “Black Scorpion Entertainment is producing masterful creations that are raising the bar in the gay adult entertainment industry and the Maleflixxx team is delighted to have them on board.”
