“We’ve recently [made] distribution arrangements with several smaller producers, as well as a couple of notable ones,” said Tim Rusty, Dark Alley Media’s director of sales and marketing.
D.A.M. Distribution will move Dark Alley’s safe-sex-centric product as well as those of other gay companies in the United States and Canada, including the gay gonzo “Owen Smith Unleashed,” Rusty said.
Operating 3,000 miles from the gay adult hub of San Francisco, Dark Alley seeks to distinguish itself — according to company literature — by encouraging actors to “push past their own limits and inhibitions to create levels of intensity not previously captured on film.”
The company is “intent on bringing a new realism into the genre of gay porn.” In addition to “Owen Hawk: Unleashed,” recent titles include the nautically-themed “Shipmates” series.
