The 15th annual awards were held for the first time in Madrid, since the FICEB moved its location from Barcelona. With about 350 adult industry members in attendance, prizes were given in both International and Spanish categories.
European producer Marc Dorcel took Best Picture and Hervé Bodilis for Best Director in the International category for Dorcel’s blockbuster release “Casino.” Starlet Nina Roberts brought home Best Actress honors for her role in the film.
Bodilis also took top honors for Best Lesbian Film with “Extasy,” produced by U.S.- based production company Evil Angel.
Evil Angel also received nods for Best Original Sex Scene and Best Costumes for fetish feature “The Fashionistas Safado: Berlin 1 and 2.”
Evil Angel directors Rocco Siffredi and Nacho Vidal were recognized for their work.
Siffredi took Best 100 Percent Sex Film for “Eskade,” which was produced by his own Rocco Siffredi Productions.
Vidal, always a favorite in his native Spain, was distinguished with a special People’s Choice award for Favorite Actor.
Harmony Films , distributed by Evil Angel in the U.S., was awarded Best Boxcover for “Deviant.”
Vivid Entertainment legendary director Paul Thomas won Best Script for “City Sex.”
Best BDSM Film went to director David Naz for “House of Sex and Domination,” produced for Euro producer Private Media Group . Naz also has directed titles for the Vivid-Alt imprint.
Spanish-based producer Razorback took multiple honors in the Spanish categories, including Best Film, Best Director, Best Actress, as well as Best Supporting Actor and Actress, for its films “The Resolution” and “Mundo Perro.”
