New Gay VOD Portal Launched

AMSTERDAM — Newly launched video-on-demand network Homoactive.tv features streaming video in high definition format from more than 20 European gay adult studios lines.

Powered by European gay producer Eurocreme, the website is multilingual, including English, French, German and Dutch language, and also offers a multicurrency option in dollars, Euros or British pounds.

Members can view the streaming video in pay-per-minute format, once they purchase credits to their account, with prices starting at two cents per minute.

“Homoactive.tv is a real challenge to the current duopoly,” said Project Manager Jason Rose, “and has been conceived from the ground up as a high quality and infinitely superior product.

“With a heavy investment in usability and some ground-breaking new features, the platform will be used increasingly for pre-release material in a dramatic departure from conventional retailing,” Rose added. “We at Homoactive believe this is the future of connecting with consumers in a very immediate and affordable fashion."

Users will have access to a one-stop area, which allows them to view an entire title or, by clicking the “more info” tab, leads to an area where they can make scene-by-scene selections. Favorite scenes can be saved under the user’s profile, adding a customization feature for members.

Searches can be conducted by genre, studio, titles, models, director or keyword.

Studios lines available on the site include Eurocreme Platinum, Alphamale, RudeBoiz, Bulldog and Beau Mec, among others.

“Despite being much longer in production that we would have wished for we are very pleased with the final product,” Homoactive managing director Stephen Thompson said.

“Our studio led solution to the issue of streaming is unique in the market place and genuinely offers studios a chance to survive and customers the choice they deserve,” said Thompson. “We do not intend to drown the site with any old rubbish we can get our hands on but instead we shall do all we can to keep the quality high and the service and user experience exceptional.”
