Director of Marketing Nancy Crow said the new look and feel of Good Vibrations will include every facet of the business, right down to sex toy packaging, the stores, signage and the products themselves.
The re-design also comes hand-in-hand with a relaunch of the company’s website, slated for September, that will enable Good Vibrations to manage an affiliate program and create link exchanges for webmasters.
Describing the new look as “very retro,” Crow added that the redesign has been integrated into all Good Vibrations’ business channels, its wholesale division, website, mail order catalog and retail stores.
“It is time to leverage our trusted reputation and create a recognizable brand that clearly defines our pleasure mission,” Crowe said.
Created by in-house graphics designer Querido Galdo, the new design features a retro sky blue and tangerine palette with a double blue starburst, creating an effect the company says is “reminiscent of women’s private pleasure products of days past.”
Crow added that the revamping process is currently underway in the company’s flagship San Francisco and Berkeley locations and that an architect has recently been hired for the redesign.
Crow also added that the company plans to open nationwide locations, although plans are not yet underway.
