Expanding the scope of their billing alternatives for customers is always a primary focus of the company and the rollout of European Direct Debit is a major step forward for GXBill and their merchants.
European Direct Debit allows consumers who wish to purchase recurring website memberships by having the expense debited directly from their checking accounts. Paying via recurring direct debit is simply another option for consumers and the service will continue to evolve by adding more new markets on a continual basis.
"Our merchant base inquired about the possibility of incorporating additional non-credit-card based billing mechanisms within the European market, so we listened to their needs and brought it to them." GXBill Vice President of Business Development Sam Anson said.
"We now have the ability to offer European Direct Debit processing to our existing Merchant base with a single click of the mouse. No added technical integration or password script installation is needed," Anson added.
Merchants seeking to tap into the European market could not have picked a better time to do so. With the Euro gaining strength and American currency on the decline, a growing consumer base is forming within Europe and many potential customers in the region are not as comfortable or capable of making credit card transactions online as their American counterparts.
Like all of GXBill's existing products, this new payment option is fully integrated within a variety of third party affiliate software options including MPA3, NATS and Partnersoft. No funds are held in reserve and there is no danger of violating Visa's cross-border acquiring rules by adding this recurring payment option.
