The radio program began airing last night on the Playboy Channel, hosted on Sirius satellite radio. The TV series is slated to start airing in September.
“I am thrilled to be back working with Playboy TV to host this new series,” Patrick said.
“‘School of Sex’ is a hot and informative show where I get to share sex secrets with viewers from swinger etiquette to intimate details on how to please your partner. Playboy TV played a huge role in helping me cross over to a mainstream audience and I look forward to continued success with them.”
The new, original “School of Sex” show is based on a popular Spanish-language show that appeared originally on Playboy TV Latin America.
Viewers will have the opportunity to write in questions, and Patrick will offer advice and even demonstrations with a “sex demonstration team.”
“Rock Star, Porn Star” will be co-hosted by Patrick and rocker husband Evan Seinfeld, as they interview mainstream celebrities including Dave Navarro, Matt Sorum, Margaret Cho and Kat Von D, and adult star like Jenna Haze, Shy Love, Brooke Haven and Kayla Paige. The show will focus on people that live “life in the fast lane,” discussing a wide variety of topics, from politics to social issues and adult-oriented material.
“As a frequent guest on Playboy Radio I’ve always wanted to do my own show,” Patrick said. “Evan and I will be calling all of our celebrity friends to share some of their wildest stories with the Playboy Radio listeners.”
“And we promise to uncover the big secret about why rock stars always date porn stars,” Patrick added.
The announcement by Playboy is among several projects involving Patrick that have been rolled out this week.
Through June 18, Patrick will be featured in Women’s Entertainment (WE) Network’s “Secret Lives of Women” documentary series.
The star also announced a collaboration with high-end T-shirt designer PJE, to launch a line of men’s T-shirts that will be branded with iconic images of Patrick, and sold in upscale boutiques including trendy Kitson, in Los Angeles.
Patrick and Seinfeld will host a party this Tuesday at the House of Blues on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood, celebrating the Playboy deal, as well as Patrick’s upcoming appearance on cover of High Times magazine.
