Girlfriends Films Releases Two New DVDs

RESEDA, Calif. — Lesbian-content production company Girlfriends Films has announced two new releases for April, "Lesbian Bridal Stories 2" and "Lesbian Psychotherapist 2."

"Lesbian Bridal Stories 2" focuses on romantic sex, with matrimonial-bound lesbian couples. In one vignette, Jayma Reid gives an engagement ring to Bobbi Starr. Tuxedo-clad Veronica Rayne and a wedding-gowned Victoria Givens get together on their wedding night, Heather Silk makes a surprise proposal to Elexis Monroe, and Daisy Layne fantasizes about betrothal to Anita Dark.

The more dramatic "Lesbian Psychotherapist 2," set in Girlfriends Films’ fictional community of Thornhill, focuses on the local lesbian psychotherapists’ offices. Stephanie Swift prescribes and administers special therapy for Lena Nicole. In another vignette, Andie Valentino helps artificially inseminate patient Heather Silk. Elexis Monroe gets together with Trinity, and Samantha Ryan dreams about getting horizontal with therapist Veronica Snow. As a prologue to the next episode of the Thornhill Diaries, "Twisted Passions 3," therapist Autum Moon helps lesbian Samantha make her first step out of the closet — but consequences will follow.

"Lesbian Psychotherapist 2" is the 12th episode in the Thornhill Diaries series, which consists of four of the company’s video series that all revolve around a common cast of characters in the upscale community of Thornhill. The four series are "Lesbian Psychotherapists," "Girls in White," "Twisted Passions," and "Unnatural Daughter." A fifth series, "Mommy’s Boi," will debut in May and will feature dominant lesbians ganging up on more submissive girls in a ritual known as “forced masculinization.” The idea for "Mommy’s Boi" came from fans on Girlfriends Films’ web forum.

Girlfriends Films is currently releasing four DVDs per month. "Lesbian Psychotherapist 2," is the company's 97th release.

"Girlfriends Films has become the largest, most prolific, and most respected source for girl-girl videos," company president Dan O'Connell told XBIZ. "The company’s hallmark is realistic sex that is often flavored with romance, seduction and dominant/submissive themes. We were Hotmovies.com’s 'Top Studio' in 2007."
