Darkholme to Helm New Gay Site for Kink.com

SAN FRANCISCO — Kink.com https://kink.com/ has contracted director/performer/photographer Van Darkholme to direct a new gay bondage website. The site, which is as-yet unnamed, will be launched in 2008.

“I'm really honored to become a member of the Kink family,” Darkholme said. “I've been told that I bring a unique creative vision to my work. I plan to build on this at Kink's premier production facilities, in a city that is arguably the fetish capital of the world. I've been doing bondage for many years, but I see this as a new beginning. My kinky juices are definitely flowing.”

Kink.com is located at the San Francisco Armory, a fortress-like former National Guard building with a variety of unique dungeon and institutional environments that the company uses as sets for various websites under the Kink.com umbrella.

"We're excited to be able to put the resources of the Armory at the disposal of Van Darkholme, who has been producing top-notch bondage entertainment for years,” Kink CEO and founder Peter Acworth said. “He brings a unique perspective on male BDSM and his Shibari skills to Kink.com, where I know he’ll thrive and continue to produce amazingly hot, kinky work."

As a performer, Darkholme has appeared in productions for Titan Media and Can-Am Studios, as well as producing a live bondage show. With his own Muscle Bound Productions, Darkholme has produced more than a dozen titles since 2001.

The director is well known for his use of muscular models and is a practitioner of Shibari, the art of elaborately knotted Japanese rope bondage.

Also a photographer, a collection of Darkholme’s works entitled “Male Bondage,” has recently been published by Bruno Gmunder.

For the new site, Darkholme said that the content would feature bondage, spanking, flogging and the director’s special interest in muscle worship will also be represented. For more information on the director, visitwww.VanDarkholme.com.

Kink.com is the parent website to paysites that include Hogtied.com, WhippedAss.com, WiredPussy.com, MenInPain.com, SexAndSubmission.com, TheTrainingOfO.com, UltimateSurrender.com and TSSeduction.com, among others.
