Digital Playground To Release ‘Island Fever 3’ On Blu-Ray

VAN NUYS, Calif. — Digital Playground confirmed an April 11 street date for the release of "Island Fever 3" on Blu-ray.

"'Island Fever 3' is a fan favorite in our benchmark 'Island Fever' series," said Digital Playground CEO Samantha Lewis. "With an all-star cast that is sizzling hot and [being] infused with superior production value, it's no surprise the film continue to garner awards. We're excited about the Blu-ray release, as this format will allow fans the opportunity to view the film the way it was intended."

"Island Fever 3" stars Digital Playground contract star Jesse Jane, alongside Devon and Tera Patrick. Available now for the first time in full HD 1080p, "Island Fever 3" is directed by Joone and produced by Samantha Lewis and Joone. It began shipping on Friday, April 4.

As part of a special promotion to celebrate the film's Blu-ray debut, Digital Playground will be giving away a free "Island Fever 3" poster with the first 1,000 orders.

"Island Fever 3" was originally released in 2004, and in 2007 became the adult industry's first HD-DVD. It has received numerous awards from respected industry panels, including Critic's Choice Award HD-DVD (2007) and Critic's Choice (2004) from Adult DVD Reviews; Best-Selling DVD (2005), Viewer's Choice (2004) and Best All-Sex DVD (2004) from Adult DVD Empire; and Best High-Definition Production (2004) from AVN.

"Island Fever 3" special features are presented in 1080p, and include "The Making of 'Island Fever 3,'" contract star and director bios, behind-the-scenes photos, a photo gallery and special bonus trailers. "Island Fever 3" is presented in 16x9 widescreen format with 5.1 digital surround sound and no regional coding.
