Max Mosley heads up Formula One Racing's governing body, and he's also the son of Sir Oswald Mosley, who was the founder of the British Union of Fascists and a friend of Adolf Hitler.
According to British news reports, the sex tape shows the 67-year-old Mosley entering a prison, where a busty blond guard inspects his head for lice before whipping his rear end and saying, "He's serving a life sentence now for crimes he committed before."
Later, Mosley speaks in German with a woman in a Nazi uniform and helps her beat other women dressed as prisoners. Later he has sex with the women, followed by tea.
All that cost Mosley about $5,000 to do.
Mosley issued a statement, saying that he would remain at his post.
"I have received a very large number of messages of sympathy and support ... suggesting that my private life is not relevant to my work and that I should continue in my role," Mosley wrote. "I am grateful, and with your support, I intend to follow this advice."
Mosley's organization has done nothing so far, saying that the fracas is a matter between Mosley and News of the World, the tabloid that broke the story.
But some racecar drivers and Jewish leaders have called for Mosley's ouster.
"This is an insult to millions of victims, survivors and their families,” said Stephen Smith, director of the Holocaust Center. "He should apologize. He should resign from the sport."
Formula One racing champion Stirling Moss agreed.
"I don't see how he can continue," Moss said. "I suppose what goes on behind closed doors is his business, but when a thing comes out like this … it's an absolute shocker."
