Ward, whose COLT model name was Franco Kier , has started up a new website and wanted to use the images on the site.
“He personally wrote to us expressing his adoration of his COLT experience and how much it meant to him,” COLT Marketing and Project Coordinator Kristofer Weston said.
Ward made a splash with pop culture audiences back in 1990 when he performed in Madonna’s controversial “Justify My Love” video. He was also a frequent companion of the Material Girl.
As an actor, he starred in director Bruce LaBruce’s 1997 cult classic “Hustler White. ” He also made an appearance on the 2006 season of “Project Runway. ” When Santino Rice, one of the finalists, was showing style guru Tim Gunn his final collection, he stayed with Ward and his wife in New York.
“He looks great and he's extremely cool,” Weston said.
COLT Talent Coordinator Manfred Speer remembers Ward vividly.
“Tony was a lot of fun to be around,” Speer said. “He had high energy and a very quick mind.”
Ward/Kier appears on the COLT website and in the COLT 40 Collector Book & DVD Sampler.
“He never did movies, but was not shy at all when it came to doing nudes,” Speer said. “He loved to show off his body.”
