The original "Dark Angels" movie was released five years ago and earned several major adult video awards including best picture.
"The original Dark Angels was a phenomenon both creatively and commercially and has been one of New Sensations' biggest titles ever," Nic Andrews, the movie's director, said. "There has been a long five year break since the release of the original and the time seemed right to create the sequel."
In "Dark Angels #2: Bloodline," fresh-faced newcomer Sunny Lane will make her big-budget feature film debut as the heroin "Jesse" and plays opposite the intimidating lead character "Draken" played by Barrett Blade. Some of the original cast including Dillon Day and Evan Stone have also returned for the sequel.
Principal photography has been completed and the movie is now in editing, with arrival in stores expected in September.
