Hosted by director Chi Chi LaRue and Chicago’s Honey West, the awards ceremony will be held at the Park West Theatre in Chicago on May 24.
Cohosting the event are performers Jake Deckard, Dean Flynn and Trevor Knight, all of whom walked away with nominations.
Leading the pack with nominations is All Worlds Video’s “Link V: The Evolution” directed by LaRue, with 12, including Best Picture, Best All-Sex Video and Best Director. Coming in a close second is Raging Stallion Studio’s “Grunts,” which received 10 nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director(s) and Best Actor for cohost Deckard.
Deckard also received nominations for Performer of the Year, Best Duo Scene (for “Playback” with Roman Ragazzi), Best 3-Way Sex Scene, Hottest Cock and Best Versatile Performer.
Last year’s big winner Knight received a nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his work in Falcon Studios’ “Basic Plumbing 3” while Flynn got nods for Best Versatile Performer, Best Cum Scene, Hottest Bottom, Best Group Scene and Best Actor for his work in Titan Media’s “Campus Pizza.”
Newcomers Blake Riley and Jesse Santana each received multiple nominations.
Riley received nods for Best Versatile Performer, Best Cum Scene, Hottest Rimming Scene, Best 3-Way Sex Scene, Best Duo Sex Scene (with Johnny Hazzard from “Restless Youths”), Hottest Bottom and Best Newcomer.
Santana is up for Best Newcomer, Performer of the Year, Hottest Bottom, Best Duo Sex Scene (with Tyler Saint from “Jet Set’s Fraternity Gangbang 2”) and Hottest Cock, as well as getting two Best Group Scene nods.
In addition to “Grunts” and “Link V: The Evolution,” the Best Picture nominations include “Gunnery Sgt. McCool” (Titan Media ), “Paradise Found” (Buckshot Productions ), “Verboten 1-2” (Hot House Entertainment ) and “Jet Set Fraternity Gangbang 2” (Jet Set Men ).
Rounding out the Best Newcomer category with Riley and Santana are Steve Cruz, C.J. Knight, Devin Moss, Ricky Sinz, Christian Cruz, Josh Vaughn, Tommy Lima and Mitch Branson.
Vying with Deckard and Santana for the coveted Performer of the Year honors are Alex Baresi, Diesel Washington, Jason Ridge, Francesco D’Macho, Steve Cruz, Jeremy Hall and Tiger Tyson.
Two winners are chosen for both the Performer of the Year and the Best Newcomer categories.
