Recorded during the recent "Sex Week" at Yale University, the debate involves industry veteran Ron Jeremy, Vivid Entertainment contract performer Monique Alexander, XXX Church Pastor Craig Gross and Donny Pauling, an adult-producer-turned-antiporn activist. Jeremy and Gross have debated the subject before audiences more than 25 times.
"I want to be clear that my ministry, and my belief, is not to take away your right to see porn," Gross said during the debate. "If you like porn, go ahead and watch it. I'm here to help those that are really having a tough time with this stuff, to help those that want out of porn."
"I'm not saying there's not a problem," Jeremy said, referring to reports of troubled performers and misuse of adult material. "But you don't blame an entire industry on a few people that have problems. People can see porn responsibly."
The program will feature comments from all four panelists and a sampling of questions from the student audience.
"Nightline" airs at 11:35 p.m. on ABC.
