The new team members bring decades of experience in marketing experience in both adult and mainstream to the table, said Sex.com President and CEO Del Anthony.
“Our goal is to bridge the gap between the mainstream and the adult industry, and proven, dynamic personnel are a key component of this goal,” Anthony said. “We feel strongly in the additions to our team as we work towards the long-term success of the soon to be relaunched Sex.com.”
Joining the Escom team as the new web development manager is April Carter Grant, who brings with her over 10 years experience in marketing and design. Grant’s previously worked in the advertising industry and as the director of marketing for a large online travel company, according to Escom.
Cort St. George, who has roots in the adult industry reaching back to his days with Internet Entertainment Group (IEG), has stepped into the role of business development for Escom, the company said. Cort’s more recent experience includes developing an online affiliate program for RG Global Lifestyles, and working in business development for companies such as National Lampoon.
The third new addition to the Sex.com team is Elisabeth “Sunny” Rodgers, who has taken the role as channel marketing manager of the company’s retail division. Rodgers has more than 15 years experience, including her recent work with Topco Sales as both marketing and licensing manager there. Rodgers’ efforts will focus on “transforming Sex.com into an e-commerce force,” the company said this week.
“We believe in filling roles with supremely talented professionals who bring with them a wide range of marketing, development, and monetization skills,” Anthony said. “We are proud to have each of the [new hires] associated with the Sex.com team.”
