“The thing that impressed me is the fact that most of the industry are members and that everyone on the boards was talking about them and what they are doing,” Worldwide Content President Moe B. told XBiz. “And I met a few of the attorneys and was impressed.”
Founded in 2003, WorldWide Content is a business-to-business site supplying video and still-picture content to adult webmasters. Moe B. expects this month’s FSC donation to be between $10,000 and $20,000.
The FSC features several tiers of membership but also encourages donations of this kind. In light of the injunction FSC plans to file in the wake of the amended 2257 regulations, incoming FSC Communications Director Tom Hymes thinks the donation is timely.
“For adult entertainment professionals, 2257 is the fight of their generation,” Hymes said, “and FSC can’t thank WorldWide Content enough for recognizing that fact so clearly by stepping up, digging into their pockets, and providing significant help in the battle against abusive governmental laws and regulations.”
“If you are in the adult business, do something. Donate money or time,” Moe B. said. “Donate money and time. The FSC is here to help us, but they cannot do it without our support.”
