The XRCO, which was founded in 1984 to give adult entertainment industry writers and editors a voice in selecting the best of adult cinema, has grown to include members from Europe as well as online industry critics.
Nominees will compete in 26 awards categories, including Best Director, Best Release, Best Epic, Best Comedy or Parody, Best Gonzo Release, Best Gonzo Series, New Stud, New Starlet, Unsung Siren and Female Performer of the Year.
This year’s Hall of Fame inductees includes Paul Fishbein, R. Bolla, Marc Stevens, Lysa Thatcher, Abigail Clayton, Suze Randall, Richard Mahler, Christoph Clark, Jeannie Pepper, Chloe, Stephanie Swift, Shayla LaVeaux, Nikki Dial, Anthony Spinelli’s “Reel People,” John Leslie’s “Curse of the Catwoman” and attorney H. Louis Sirkin.
The first XRCO Awards were presented in Hollywood, Calif. on Feb. 14, 1985. Two longtime XRCO members, “Dirty Bob” Krotts and Dick Freeman, serve as the organization’s co-chairmen.
