Joe Jekel Joins AEBN

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Adult video on demand (VOD) provider AEBN has announced the addition of industry veteran Joe Jekel to its sales and marketing team.

Jekel brings a unique set of business experiences and entrepreneurial spirit to the table, having run and supported several start-up companies over the years, including the one that first introduced him to AEBN.

"We wrote a program called Remote Thumbs," Jekel said. "We actually ended up selling it to AEBN."

Now, Jekel will be selling AEBN to others – something he is looking forward to, Jekel said.

"I am very excited to be given the opportunity to join such a tremendous team of professionals at one of the most cutting edge industry leaders in the adult online arena," Jekel told XBIZ. "I hope to bring some of the new products and projects coming soon from AEBN to the pocketbooks of all webmasters and programs both big and small."

AEBN sees Jekel as a perfect fit for the company.

"Joe is definitely one of the most focused and ambitious people I have ever met in any industry," Jerry Anders, AEBN's vice president of sales and marketing, said. "I'm psyched to have him on our team in 2008."

Jekel said he's thrilled to be "someone AEBN tapped to help chart some of these courses with them."

"It's like Columbus came to me and said, 'Hey. I've got this plan. I've got all the money and all the ships and I'm going to America. Do you want to jump on board and be the cook?'"
