The evening will be hosted by Good Vibration’s Dr. Carol Queen, well-known sex educator and founder of the Center for Sex and Culture, located also in San Francisco.
Her co-host will be independent filmmaker, artist, actor and drag queen Peaches Christ, who is well known in the Bay Area for her Midnight Mass cult movie “freak-along”, which is in its ninth year. Christ also produces the S.F. Underground Short Film Festival.
The Queen of Hearts event will feature entertainment from the Vau de Vire Society, an “sub-cultural” circus and dance experience troupe, as well as an appearance by drag king King Jay Walker, and a fetish fashion show emceed by Madame S.
The dance mix will be spun by DJ Party Ben and the Good Vibration Dancers will appear, featuring Trixxie Carr and Tricksie Treat from the Lusty Lady, as well as Sadie Lune.
A Pleasure Faire also will be held onsite, with a display of erotic products from Good Vibrations, corsets from Dark Gardens and fortune-tellers.
Tickets are available for $25 at all Bay Area Good Vibrations retail locations and on their www.goodvibes.com. Costumes are encouraged, with attendees required to dress impressively in either erotic or formal wear.
