Teravision’s Iron Cross Launches, Hollywood-Style

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Teravision CEO Evan Seinfeld launched his latest project, Iron Cross Studios, last night at Hollywood’s newest ultra-chic lounge S Bar.

The party was to promote the premiere title in the Iron Cross line, “Domination,” which features an all-star cast including Hillary Scott, Jeneveve Joli, Jayna Oso, Gia Paloma, Lexi Bardot and Annette Schwartz.

The BDSM-themed release is a departure for Teravision, but Seinfeld said he wanted to produce a line that would appeal to a hardcore rock 'n' roll audience.

Upcoming videos in the new line will cover a wide range of niches; amateur title “Daddy, I’m a Porn Star Now” will be the next release in the line and Seinfeld is planning projects with more fetish, biker chicks and original music by his band, the Spyderz.

“I’m a regular, perverted guy,” Seinfeld told XBIZ. “I don’t think that I’m so far out there. I like music, pretty girls and nasty sex.”

Seinfeld said that in order to keep production values high and create the look and feel that he wanted, it took almost a year of post-production and double the budget for an average gonzo release. He pointed out also that this is the first time he has used music from his former band Biohazard in an adult video.

As far as directing, he allowed the performers plenty of freedom.

“You don’t have to encourage Hillary Scott to be more nasty,” Seinfeld said. “If the movie does well, I’m going to do ‘Part 2’ with new girls and let them act up.”

Amidst the stylishly neo-classical decor of the club, the mood at the party was light and festive with a DJ spinning an eclectic old-school mix that included songs by the Ramones, AC/DC, Billy Joel, Wham and Dee-Lite.

The crowd was a mix of both mainstream and adult celebrities and L.A. hipster-types, as well as a bevy of blonds including Playboy’s Miss March 2002, Tina Jordan, and models Lexi Baxter and Cecille Gahr.

Adult personalities on hand to join the festivities included Mya Luanna, “Domination” producer Sancho, Paulina James and Burning Angel founder Joanna Angel with newbie redheaded performer Jessie Lee.

“I’ve only been in L.A. since yesterday,” Lee said, explaining that she had come from New York to shoot web content with Angel.

“She’s been really nice about showing me around so far, and it’s great to find out that she’s so down-to-earth. I idolized her for a long time because she makes great movies and has brilliant ideas, and now that I met her, she jokes around and is silly all the time. It’s really cool,” Lee said.

Former professional wrestler and star of her own celebrity sex tape Chyna was also in the crowd.

“I’m enjoying the beautiful club and good people,” she told XBIZ.

Giving Teravision another reason to celebrate, rocker/adult director Dave Navarro was in attendance and excited about his directorial debut “Broken” being nominated for multiple AVN Awards. He told XBIZ he was thrilled about the recognition, and that he hoped Axel Braun would win the trophy for editing for his work on the movie.

Navarro also explained he’s reconsidered his decision to make “Broken” a one-off project and is currently planning his next adult title.

“What I enjoy about adult films — you can make something and have it on the shelf in 45 days,” Navarro told XBIZ. “The public can have it in their hands while you’re still enthused about it.”

Seinfeld’s better half, adult megastar Tera Patrick relaxed on a plush sofa, as Navarro and Angel chatted nearby and a couple of skinny hipster guys in Ed Hardy jeans did a funny dance just a few feet away.

Patrick said it was a special thrill to see her husband’s new line roll out and add variety to the Teravision roster.

“I’m so excited for him because I know that it’s something he really wanted to do, so I’m happy and proud of him,” Patrick said.

The jet-setting, rocker couple had also just returned from London earlier in the day, where they had been for the Led Zeppelin reunion show on Monday night, as guests of drummer Jason Bonham.

Patrick said the experience was incredible. She recalled growing up and listening to her father play Led Zeppelin, and though she was 3 years old when the band broke up, she has always been a huge fan.

“It was a dream come true,” she said. “It was like being part of history.”
