"We are very excited because Europeans, especially Londoners, like and appreciate the concept of a Hustler Club," Hustler founder Larry Flynt said. "We are certain it will be a success."
The club, which is on the site of the former For Your Eyes Only club, opened with a champagne reception, topless dancers on a stage with seven poles and a special performance from pole-dancing world champion Elena Gibson.
Local celebrity Ziggy, who appeared on a version of the reality TV show "Big Brother," was part of the opening-night crowd.
“I had such a great time," he told reporters. "This is going to be one of the best clubs in town, of that I’m sure. The girls are beautiful and the atmosphere is warm and friendly.”
