Butts launched Lighthouse Talent in November 2005 and at the time of the merger represented many big names in the adult entertainment industry including Jada Fire, Sunny Lane, Trina Michaels, Alana Evans and Kelly Wells.
Butts told XBIZ that the initial plan is to merge resources, staff and talent under the LATM banner.
“It’s a great opportunity for us to offer our girls a wider range of services through Lisa Ann,” Butts said. “She has great contacts in the feature dance world and has also set up an ambitious store-signing program that our girls can take advantage of.”
LATM is celebrating its one-year anniversary this month and Lisa Ann told XBIZ that she couldn’t have received a better gift to celebrate the milestone.
“I’m incredibly excited about this merger; what a way to celebrate one year of being in business,” Lisa Ann said. “Lighthouse represents some amazingly talented and beautiful girls and it’s truly a thrill to be able to work with them going forward. It’s almost like LATM doubled overnight.
“I’m totally committed [to being an agent],” Lisa Ann continued. “I’m going to be able to offer their girls things that weren’t offered through Lighthouse. I’m very hands-on with my girls and nothing makes me happier than seeing them succeed.”
Butts said that the merger would benefit the agency because in the event of cancellations, LATM has many more girls to offer as fill-ins.
“This merger is going to benefit producers as well because of the expanded roster,” Butts said. “Cancellations are unfortunate, but a reality in this business. Now that there are so many more girls that can fill in when needed, it strengthens our position with producers just because we can offer more replacements when cancellations do arise.”
