Once again the studio's most notable nods belong to illustrious contract star Jesse Jane, who is nominated for Female Performer of the Year and Crossover Star of the Year.
The No. 1-selling release "Babysitters," featuring Jesse Jane, received the most nominations including: Best High-Definition Production; Best All-Girl Sex Scene, Video; Best Couples Sex Scene, Video; Best Oral Sex Scene, Video and Best Vignette Release. One of her most recent titles, "Jesse Jane: Image" also captured a nom for Best High-End All-Sex Release, a new category this year.
Best New Starlet nominee and contract superstar-in-the-making Shay Jordan also received a nod. It was also her insatiable debut performance in "Shay Jordan: All American Girl," a representative said, that guaranteed the title a nomination for Best Solo Sex Scene. Jordan also stars in Best HD Production nominee "Babysitters."
Famed director Robby D also received recognition for his contributions made from behind-the-lens and captured Director of the Year (Body of Work) and Best Director, Non-Feature ("Babysitters") nominations. This year a tally of 15 titles directed by Robby D, together with seven of his directed series, garnered him an impressive 30 nominations in total.
"We are delighted with the show of recognition Digital Playground has received for our contributions this season," Digital Playground CEO Samantha Lewis said. "Jesse Jane is a superstar in this industry and Shay Jordan is well on her way to becoming a legend.
