Two of CJI’s top-selling titles, “Janine Loves Jenna" “ and “I Dream of Jenna 2,” received a total of 21 nominations combined. Jenna Jameson received a Best Actress, Video nomination (among three others) and Justin Sterling got a Best Director, Video nod (among nine total) for his work on “Janine Loves Jenna,” which spent nearly four consecutive months as No. 1 on the top rental and sales charts, according to the company.
“We’re really excited to be recognized with the group of nominations our titles received,” CJI President Jay Grdina said. “It’s been an extremely busy and evolutionary year for us at CJI, and we’re very honored to be recognized along with our directors, crew and performers for all the work everyone put into our movies.”
Also, this year Jameson and Club Jenna Inc. were honored by the christening of the Jenna Jameson Crossover Star of the Year Award in her name.
"After my long career and many milestones in the adult world, this feels like a beautiful cherry on my sundae,” Jameson said. “Thanks for being so monumental in my career and Club Jenna's ascent. I am excited to see who will be taking home the first Jenna Jameson Award."
Jameson was the recipient of the formerly named Crossover Star of the Year Award in 2006 and 2007.
Releases featuring Club Jenna Girls Roxy Jezel, Lela Star, Chanel St. James, Sophia Rossi and others, also received award nominations.
The 25th annual awards show will take place Jan. 12 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
