VCX Named Adult Business of the Year

LAS VEGAS — Adult classics video company VCX was named Adult Business of the Year by the Sin City Chamber of Commerce at the 2nd annual Sin City Business Awards Nov. 10.

"I cannot begin to tell you the honor I feel at having VCX awarded Adult Business of the Year," VCX President David Sutton said. "Although we have only been in Vegas for six years, we are the oldest continually operating adult movie studio on the planet. "Vegas and VCX are a match made in heaven and the Sin City Chamber of Commerce is the first mainstream organization to recognize the importance of the contributions adult businesses make to the vitality of this great city of ours. I am very proud to be associated with the this organization and its devotion to the advancement of 'the real Vegas.'"

Sutton said that VCX's involvement in charities like the Corps of Compassion also played a role in the award. In May, Sutton skydived from 20,000 feet to raise funds for the organization, now his favorite charity.

"It's great to be singled out and honored for the good work of your company, but being a responsible corporate citizen that contributes to the community is its own reward," Sutton said.

Las Vegas-based VCX, the "Home of the Classics," manufactures titles including "Debbie Does Dallas," "The Devil in Miss Jones" and "Little Girls Blue." The company's website, VCX.com, was launched in 1996 and added video-on-demand in 2004.

The Sin City Chamber of Commerce is a member-based business organization in Las Vegas "created to promote, with equality, respect and fairness, the businesses that provide the products and services that Sin City Las Vegas is noted for worldwide." The adult and mainstream companies recognized at the Sin City Chamber of Commerce Business Awards represent the "Very Best of Sin City." The ceremony was held at the Fiesta Rancho Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
