SX Video Runs T-Shirt Design Contest

SAN DIEGO — Gay studio SX Video has put out a call for submissions for a new T-shirt design contest. The contest, which ends Dec. 31, offers a grand prize worth more than $3,500.

“The SX Video fans are very passionate about our videos,” SX Video director Ben Baird said. “We wanted to give them an opportunity to become involved in a project that is exciting and thrilling.”

Participants do not need to be a professional artist to enter the contest. Submissions can include anything from ideas, slogans, sketches, mock-ups, concepts or complete designs.

“The incredible response we have received from just the first day after the contest was announced shows that our audience eagerly welcomes this unique chance to interact with our creative team,” Baird said.

The SX Video design staff will finalize the winning submission.

“This is unlike any other design competition because we are not restricting submissions to graphic designers,” Baird said. “We don’t want to limit anyone’s creativity; instead, we want to give them complete license to submit whatever they want.”

The few restrictions state that submissions must be original concepts, not contain any copyrighted material, and contain no political or religious content. Participants may enter more than one design.

“That’s a prize package worth more than $3,500,” Baird said. “Who can pass that up?”

SX Video specializes in gay bareback and fetish videos and boasts a library of more than 60 titles. In addition, SX Video distributes the Gaslamp Video and Almost Straight collections. The winner of the SX Video Design Contest receives one copy of each current title.

To enter, visit SXVideo.com or email submission (along with your name, address and phone number) to tshirt@sxvideo.com.
