“I judge parties by the smiles on people’s faces,” All Media Play’s Jeff Mullen told XBIZ. “Looking around, I see a lot of people enjoying themselves. We’ve got beautiful girls, porn and celebrities — it doesn’t get better than this.”
As Mullen poured a round of drinks for guests at his VIP table, he said the celebration was in honor of the X-Play/Hustler Video comedy parody “Not the Bradys XXX” and SexZ Pictures' science fiction thriller “Upload.”
But, for the most part the event was a masquerade ball crowded with pirates, princesses, gangsters, molls, angels, devils, nurses, gladiators, evil queens, vampires and other assorted ghouls.
The party started off with free admittance to adult performers, as they filed onto the red carpet. Seen there posing for adult and mainstream paparazzi was a busload of starlets from talent agency and party sponsor LA Direct, including Audrey Bitoni, Kayla Paige, Emilianna, Lacey Maquire, Chayse Evans, Courtney James, Whitney Fears, Chloe Chanel, Phoenix Marie and August.
Asked if he had managed to bring his entire roster of girls with him, LA Direct owner Derek Hay said, “You invite 60 girls, and an hour before the party the texts and calls start coming in with the excuses.”
Lynn LeMay, who plays the role of “Alice” in “Not the Bradys XXX,” posed in her costume from the movie.
LA Nitelife host James Bartholet, dressed as a knight, followed not far behind LeMay, as well as adult industry lawyer Michael Fattorosi.
“On Halloween, regular girls dress like whores,” Fattorosi quipped. “Here, the porn girls are dressed up.”
One thing for certain; as the night went on and non-industry party goers filled out the crowd, it became more difficult to tell the starlets from the wannabes, especially with everyone in costume.
Makeup artist and sometimes publicist Kelly and Pink Visual's newest director Rory made quite a sight; she was dressed as a ghostly bride and Rory wore a full-on furry Chewbacca costume, which he later admitted was hotter than hell.
Inside Blvd 3, the scene was set on open-air patio area was lined with cabanas. An 80-foot skeleton, projected onto the neighboring building’s wall, danced high above Sunset Boulevard.
Enjoying the blaze in the patio’s outdoor fire pit; more starlets included Rita Faltoyano, Paulina James, Jenny Hendrix, Carmella Bing, Brianna Love, Gianna Lynn, Devon Lee, Nikita Denise, Regan Reese and Hannah Harper.
Master Dominic said he is getting ready to shoot a music video.
Newbie director Jason Sinclair was seen high-fiving director Max Hardcore, who showed up to the party without his trademark cowboy hat. Nearby, Goldstar Modeling owner Joel “The Gladiator” Lawrence chatted with performer Jack “The Fireman” Lawrence, who talked about his latest documentary project titled “How to Break into Porn.”
Teravision executive producer Sancho showed up with the mysterious, nautically-attired Candy Lane, while starlet Adrenalynn was escorted by masked director/performer Tee Reel.
Newbie performer Melanie Scott came dressed in street attire, but made up for it by showing off her assets.
MILF performer D’Bella was also in attendance, as well as performers Savannah Jayne, Anthony Rosano, and Eddie Garcia. Also in the crowd; LaTia Lopez, Kat Kleevage, Nikki Fairchild, Nikki Nievez, Chris Cannon and Aarielle Alexis.
A flight of stairs led up a wrap-around balcony that served as the VIP area and overlooked the swarming dance floor below.
On the dance floor, house dancers on two pedestals entertained the partygoers and were dressed as angels and devils, in keeping with the party’s theme. The DJ spun an old-school mix with songs from Cypress Hill, Sean Paul and Dee-lite.
Clusters of adult personalities hung around the tables lining the balcony area, including starlets Olivia O'Lovely and Flower Tucci, GameLink's Kevin Blatt and “Spunk’d: The Movie” director Justin Kane.
Howard Stern alum Gary Garver told XBIZ that he’s working on a mainstream project called Exscape.TV which should be ready in a few weeks.
Cassandra Cruz, dressed as Pocahontas, did a sexy rain dance for her date Dick Delaware, while camera lights flashed.
Also seen hanging with the VIPs; starlets Alexis Amore, Lori Lust, Heidi Mayne, Kat, Gentilly and Faye.
Mainstream celebrity L.A. Clippers guard Sam Cassell dropped in, also, to enjoy the festivities.
Party sponsors included 944 Magazine, Universal, MTV, “Upload,” Goldstar Modeling, Cabaret Productions, “Not the Bradys XXX,” Trump Vodka, xxcan.net, Xtreme Measures and X-Play.
