“Nightmoves was a blast, as always. We are very proud that the awards we won were voted on by the fans. This means more to us than anything,” Digital Playground marketing director Adella told XBIZ.
The studio won Best Series for director Joone’s “Island Fever.”
Best Director went to DP's Robby D. for his overall body of work, with series like “Jack’s Playground,” “Deeper” and “Control,” as well as various other titles.
Digital Playground contract performer Shay Jordan was honored with the Best New Starlet award.
Perhaps the most prestigious win for the studio was Best Production Studio, which was the fourth time Digital Playground has been recognized in the same category since 2001.
“I'd like to thank Paul, Tracy, Art and the entire staff at Nightmoves magazine, as well as the readers who voted, for recognizing our efforts to produce quality erotica. Each of these awards represents the endless hours put in by our entire team,” Digital Playground president Samantha Lewis said.
“Our synergy this year is unbelievable and it's an honor to oversee such a diligent crew. Congratulations to my partner Joone, Celeste and Robby D. for their fantastic visions and the ability to execute them, and to Jesse and Shay for their undeniable sex appeal and commitment to represent Digital Playground in the best possible light. I'm extremely proud of our team. Together, we look forward to raising the bar for years to come,” Lewis said.
The Nightmoves Adult Entertainment Awards event was held at various Tampa locations including Oz’s Ladies and Gentlemen’s Club, Foxy Gentlemen’s Club, Extasy Upscale Gentlemen’s Club, the Tampa Gold Club, with the awards ceremony held at Bricktown 54.
"I'd like to thank all the studios and stars for their support; it is always an honor to have our industry cohorts in town to celebrate,” Nightmoves Magazine founder Paul Allen said. “We are thrilled to award Digital Playground [the] Best Production Company [award]. They're always a pleasure to work with and everything they produce reflects high production values and quality."
