The title, touted as an homage to fine dining and sexual fantasies, serves up enough steamy action to satisfy even the most voracious appetite, the company said.
Shot entirely on location in New York City, "Hunger" takes viewers on a culinary thrill ride that explores the magical, sexual mystery of what happens when fine food and sexual desire collide — from waiters and bartenders to sous chefs and luxury bathroom attendants, according to a representative.
"Let's face it, fine dining is an aphrodisiac, and the marriage of food and sex is one of the most exquisite pleasures a man can enjoy," Black Scorpion exec James Ian said. "Black Scorpion is committed to producing the industry's most sophisticated gay adult films, and 'Hunger' succeeds by bringing life to the underlying erotic nature of fine dining."
"Hunger" is newcomer Black Scorpion's third feature, following "Dreams of Rafael" and "Obsession of D.O.," which showcased Rafael Alencar and Black Scorpion exclusive D.O. Two more fall releases — "Man Island" and "Cuma Sutra" — will round out the company's first year of production.
"As the New York newcomer, Black Scorpion has found a niche for itself in producing truly high-end gay entertainment," said Mark Hamilton, president of Pulse Sales Distribution. "'Dreams of Rafael' and 'Obsession of D.O.' were both big winners, so I have every reason to believe that 'Hunger' will do equally as well, if not better. This studio is on to something."
"Hunger" hits the market with a deluxe three-disc package. The first features four sex scenes, along with the climactic signature Black Scorpion 11-man orgy. The second includes exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, guided by Rafael Alencar. The third is a bonus CD featuring the "Hunger" musical collection, composed by Dardo, remixed by Damegoodz.
"Hunger" stars Alencar, D.O., Greg David, Kyle Lewis, Alexi Chevalier, Rocko, Marco Sanchez, David Handsome, Joe, Jonathan Lowe, Arpad Miklos and C.J. Knight.
